This remodeled kitchen was designed to accommodate a family with busy teens. The former layout did not allow for multiple chefs to prepare meals together. In order to solve this problem, a double- aisle kitchen was created to provide multiple prepping spaces without interrupting traffic patterns. The island extended into a casual eating and social area. This provided space for guests to chat with the chef or for the family to share a casual dinner and have face-to- face conversations.

Porcelain tile, granite countertops, and high-gloss cabinetry gave the space a modern, sophisticated edge.
