Cowa Bungalow

Residential | Remodel | Kitchen
This client wanted a simple update on her 1940s bungalow kitchen and master bath. The kitchen was not utilizing the space to its full potential, and there was also an awkward slope from the East wall angled to the ceiling. Additionally, there was very little storage space and counter space for food preparation. To address these challenges, the cabinetry was extended to the ceiling in a bright white. An existing kitchen table was replaced with a built in eating nook with a view to the outdoors. The additional surface  could also be an extended work area. There also was an opportunity to install a Butler’s Pantry into an empty closet that was conveniently located off the south end of the kitchen.

The master bath transformed into a spa-like retreat by changing the original foot print. The large Jacuzzi tub was removed and a beautiful glass door shower was added.  Although the room decreased in size,  plenty of storage was available with the addition of a custom linen cabinet and a larger custom vanity.
